With David Lean capturing the imagination with the mastery of location-as-character in his movies, it wasn’t a stretch to find the selection of iconic buildings as characters.<\/p>\n

Two that stand out from Ms Hayles list are the Chemosphere<\/a> House in “Body Double”\"body-double-brian-palma-1984-L-8\"<\/p>\n

…and the Bradbury Building<\/a>\u00a0used in “Blade Runner”\u00a0\"375px-BladeRunner_Bradbury_Interior\"<\/p>\n

There are many others that come to mind but as it turns out most were built for the movies – either in fact or now-a-says through computer generation.<\/p>\n
