Creative solutions that come from constraints inspire me – especially in architecture. Take the challenge of creating an extra room out of the 320-square-feet from a 40′ shipping container. That’s what Stacey Hill of San Antonio Texas asked architect Jim Poteet to do. With a foundation made from recycled telephone poles, floor-to-ceiling window and sliding glass door, sprayed insulation, bamboo flooring, compostable toilet, and roof top garden using grey water that insulates from above, this becomes a space that even MacGyver would crow about!
